Who looks at what and how is one of the many questions that permeate the work of Sigurd Rompza. His wall-mounted objects capture light differently depending on their angle, and so the color also changes even when applied uniformly; blue becomes lighter and black darker depending on their exposure to light.
Sigurd Rompza is featured in an exhibition at the Institute for Contemporary Art in Saarlouis.
