Dear friends of the gallery,

for the 45th consecutive year
Art Basel
This year, the focus will be on the Salon des Réalités Nouvelles (Salon of New Realities) with works from the constructed trend by internationally renowned artists such as:

Olle Baertling, Marcelle Cahn, Jo Delahaut, Robert Jacobsen, Félix del Marle, Jean Dewasne, Günter Fruhtrunk, Emile Gilioli, Jean Gorin, Auguste Herbin, Jean Leppien, Alberto Magnelli, Aurélie Nemours, Edgard Pillet, Victor Vasarely.

The gallery actively participates in numerous museum exhibitions, notably the retrospective of Auguste Herbin (1882-1960) at the Haus Konstruktiv in Zurich from June 4th to September 7th. The last retrospective in Switzerland was in 1963, organized by Harald Szeemann at the Kunsthalle Bern. In the catalogue preface, he wrote of Herbin: "His work is not only a pleasure for the eyes, but also brings a profound sense of order and tranquility."

Following the exhibition in Le Cateau-Cambrésis, the Jean Dewasne (1921-1999) exhibition will open at the Cambrai Museum on June 28th, highlighting the significant graphic work of this artist, much of which we published.
At the first Basel fair in 1969, we presented a series of Jean Dewasne's screen prints. Jean-Claude Lahumière designed the stand in the shape of waves to accommodate the entire series, which was called "The Long March." Harald Szeemann helped us sell a large portion of that edition.
Art Cologne was a resounding success, and Art Paris Art Fair lived up to expectations despite the ongoing economic crisis.

Currently on display until July 5th is an exhibition of the work of Moon-Pil Shim. Moon-Pil Shim is a Korean artist who has lived and worked in France for over 20 years. His work focuses on light, lines, and patterns. He creates many 1% projects, and his collaborations with architects have naturally led him to explore volume as well.

Until we have the pleasure of welcoming you to our stand, we send you our warmest regards

Anne Lahumière and the entire gallery team
